The Getaway Weekend – February 14-16, 2025.

The 2025 Getaway theme is “Quilting Makes Life Bearable.”

The Holiday Inn Canton (Belden Village) is the confirmed venue for the 2025 Getaway. The venue is located beside Belden Village right off I-77.

Update! Noon Scissor Sharpening will be on site on Saturday to sharp your scissors. The prices are available here.

Update! Due to a personal issue, Dennis from Somewhere Sewing is NOT be able to attend. The Getaway Committee is currently looking for a replacement.

NEORQC Getaway 2025 Challenge – Getaway 2024 attendees received a postcard size table runner picture with fabric requirements and instructions printed on the other side of the postcard. There are five different table runner designs. The challenge is to completely finish and quilt the table runner on the postcard you received and bring it to the 2025 Getaway. Attendees will vote for their favorite table runner in each design category. Prizes awarded to the winners. NOTE: This challenge is separate from the “Eye Spy” challenge.
